38x100mm Woody Mini Joist Hanger is produced from 1mm thick pre-galvanised mild steel in accordance with the specification given in the BS EN 10327:2004 DX51D+Z275. Also available in stainless steel. The hanger includes a base tag that can significantly contribute to faster and more accurate installation This base tag would help to avoid unnecessary rotation. The product offers substantial safe working load of 5.25kN at 1.5mm deflection, meaning that there is no fear of the hanger breaking if the given load and strength characteristic of 12.5kN are respected. Long term safe working load = 3.96 kN.
FIXING INSTRUCTIONS for 38x100mm Woody Mini Joist Hanger
- All holes should be nailed using 30 x 3.75 square twist nails or equivalent.
- For stainless steel products use 30 x 3.75 stainless steel annular ring shank nails.
