38mm x 216mm Woody Short Leg Joist Hanger is produced from 1mm thick pre-galvanised mild steel produced in accordance to EN BS 10327:2004 DX51D+Z275. It has a shortened leg, and with a 50mm joist bearing. The hanger includes a base tag which can significantly contribute to faster and more accurate installation. The base tag would avoid unnecessary rotation. Long term safe working load = 3.96 kN.
FIXING INSTRUCTIONS for 38x216mm Woody Short Leg Joist Hanger
- All holes should be nailed using 30 x 3.75 squaretwist nails or equivalent, for stainless steelproducts use 30 x 3.75 stainless steel annular ringshank nails.
- Always ensure that compatible corrosionresistant fixings are used, i.e. do not usegalvanised fixings with stainless steel products orvice versa.
- Tag on the base of the hanger to help avoid rotation and aid fast, accurate location. The tagcan be bent if not required.
