38x285mm Woody Standard Joist Hanger is a timber to timber joist hanger produced from 1mm thick pre-galvanised mild steel in accordance with the specification given in the BS EN 10327:2004 DX51D+Z275. It is also available in stainless steel. The hanger includes a base tag, which can significantly contribute to faster and more accurate installation and to avoid unnecessary rotation. This tag can easily be bent if it is not necessary.
Long term safe working load = 6.43 kN. The hangers have been accordingly tested by Ceram Research. The test results are available upon request.

FIXING INSTRUCTIONS for 38x285mm Woody Standard Joist Hanger
- 30mm x 3.75mm Square Twisted nails should be used for nailing the holes during installation.
- For stainless steel products use 30mm x 3.75mm stainless steel annular ring shank nails.
- Always ensure that compatible corrosion resistant fixings are used, i.e. do not use galvanised fixings with stainless steel products or vice versa.
- The tag can be bent if not required.
