132mm x 450mm Woody Long Leg Joist Hanger is produced from 1.5mm thick pre-galvanised mild steel produced in accordance to EN 10346 DX51D+Z275 with 50mm joist bearing. This timber to timber joist hanger designed for use in Loft Conversions where the hanger extends below the support. This joist hanger ls also available in Grade 1.4301 austenitic stainless steel to EN 10088-2.
Long term safe working load = 11.68 kN. The hangers have been accordingly tested by Ceram Research. Test results are available upon request.
FIXING INSTRUCTIONS for 132x450mm Woody Long Leg Joist Hanger
- All available holes should be nailed using 30 x 3.75 square twist galvanised nails or equivalent, for stainless steel use 30 x 3.75 annular ring shank nails.
- Always ensure that compatible corrosion resistant fixings are used, i.e. do not use galvanised fixings with stainless steel products or vice versa.
SPECIFICATION
- Joist bearing 50mm.
- Also available in Stainless Steel.
